Since the last few weeks has proved quite challenging for me in terms of my physical health and mental health, I decided to start revisiting church.
I am a believer and to me keeping my faith strong is important for my mental and physical wellbeing. The only issue is that I lacked church visitation, which I am not too happy about. Mostly because I don’t like to attend on my own. Today I made an effort to go out around 10am to visit the St Thomas’s Church which is within an hour of where I live and has been on my radar for a while. I have seen many old churches which are in much better condition, this was still in good condition but inside you can tell it doesn’t have the funding that others do. I spoke to a gentleman who confirmed the funding was poor. I understand time are hard, but it is surely the Church of England that should be taking it upon itself to provide adequate funding and repairs and not the general public who can only give what they can afford most of the time.
You will notice that this is huge, like most churches, and it has an upstairs which I was not expecting. I will be returning in the near future for sure to attend a Holy Communion service. I was granted permission to take photographs.
I was respectful to the altar and not to cross the wrong boundaries, but the public can enter the choir gallery area.
The first thing I saw when I stepped into the church.
The church is large but apparently has a small congregation of people who attend regularly. I hope that more people will attend services here. It is one of a number of Church of England churches throughout Greater Manchester. I have yet to visit St. Peters church and St. Georges churches. I do intend to visit them but finding them open is very difficult considering that they are only open on Sunday for a brief time. This was not always the case.
Funding has blatantly decreased, and the public seem less interested in church and religions than ever before. The advent of modern belief systems has drawn a substantial part of the populace away from traditions like Christianity toward new age enlightenment beliefs and such. This is of course not deterring from the fact that there are around 2.83 billion Christians in the world making it the largest religion still to this day based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. A whopping 1.9 billion are Islamic and 1.25 billion are Hindu. Around 1.1 billion are non-religious. I hope that puts things in perspective – you should never feel ashamed of your faith. There will be others, so don’t be afraid to connect with them. The writer of Hebrews encourages the gathering together of friends and family as a community for support, love and wellbeing.
I was a little apprehensive about visiting as I haven’t done so in a while. I hope any future visits will provide an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. Thank you so much for reading and I hope the pictures are enjoyable too.
If you liked then please like, comment and let me know whether you are a part of a belief system or if you are an atheist.
Welcome to this poem. Firstly, I want to apologise for not posting in the last twelve or so days. I was unfortunately quite unwell in hospital from the 16th of September to the 27th when I was allowed to leave. Still recovering, albeit at home. I think this is a trying time for me but as always staying true to my faith and with a courageous heart facing the unknown.
Blinded by the lightmy eyes they take the nightwhen my heart ceased to beatI began to meet, myselfon the brink of the unknownfizzing through dimensionsas the angels sing praise of GodI drop into the open waterand sparks streak across my visionand life seems so pale and emptyyet full of life is beaming through the hazemade out of clay, finding the wayto the top, waiting for my destiny, to hophop into the love and the lightextremely peaceful seductionthat radiates from my mind.

On another more welcoming note… Good Morning 🌞 ☕ writers and readers of WordPress and beyond! Looking at my day today which is unplanned, I intend to write at least 2000 words on a supernatural horror novella (you may recall the cover for Dead Reckoning) and to continue to edit another of my novellas. I also have peace and positivity for you all today this fine summer morning.
A fine glow in the distance tells me that the sun approaches.
Do you know what an angel is? Why am I talking about them more these last few months? Well, I want to share the glory of God with you. Without God there are no angels, no heaven and no earth and nothing would exist. Modern science has us stray away from these ideas with concepts such as the big bang and wormholes. Science though will never truly embrace the science of God – because it is all government funded nonsense.
I am happy to now announce that this post is controversial, welcome.
Once you understand the role of the angelic beings, you will come to be able to enable them to assist you because you will be more aware of them. I’m not saying that they will save your life or stop you dying a horrid disease. That would not be fair, their role is to help people and guide, protect and comfort among others… namely communicating back and forth between yourselves and God. They shouldn’t be expected to save us from everything, although they do try. They are the voices saying, ‘don’t cross the road,’ ‘don’t turn on the light,’ and ‘don’t do it,’ along with more encouraging phrases like ‘well done,’ and calling you by your name.
It took me many years to appreciate that they are really by your side a lot of the time, nearly all of the time in fact. I used to believe they came only when in danger or in need, but they are 100% there anytime. You may want to see for yourself by talking to them. If you are worried about talking because it looks like you are talking to yourself then consider it a confidence booster and way to practice your speaking skills. As for God, so long as you appreciate what they did for you then I can’t imagine you’d be frowned upon.
Another important thing is that angelic beings do note everything we do (as stated in Islam too) and there are negative beings too. Depending on which side you choose – good or bad – you will gain or lose angels or demons. The more good you do and the better you are, in many ways, means more angelic assistance when in need. If you perform bad deeds, angels may not appreciate this as demons move in around you, leaving angels unable to get to you. Think I am making this up? Please go and research. Don’t worry, this angelic information isn’t top secret (anymore) and I am sure the Vatican would love to comment on how they hid their misdemeanors over the years so well.
Needless to say, angels do in fact want the best for us. When I recalled the story of John Dee and Edward Kelley and the communication between themselves and angelic beings, I always take it with a large pinch of salt! This is because the angles supposedly told Dee to swap wives, which I do not believe. I have never had an experience of angelic beings promoting behaviour which would cause potential upset, alarm and fall out. I suspect that Dee had made this up or that any communication he had received was on his reptilian brain.
Morning prayer: The Lords Prayer
Our Father, who art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom cometh
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven
and give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us of our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For thine is the power, the kingdom and the glory
Forever and ever
Amen.

Choose to be a good person out of the reality that is your true nature, an intelligent and loving being created by God. ~ Wizard
I see that the man with all the pennies is now buying about twenty acres of land. I also noticed he had got rid of his old cat. That is a shame, but I suspect the cat was beginning to use his audio device to listen to the old man’s neighbours. That isn’t an unfounded allegation by the way, I saw that cat out in the streets, talking spy language with other cats. Anyway, there is the possibility the cat was sent to defector prison. What say you, you beautiful human? “Meow.” Okay fair enough, ciao. Cat chowder.
