When you're gone

I wonder where

I wonder why

I look into the night sky

at the glistening stars

I wonder who

you may have become

or maybe you just burned up in the sun

the truth is nobody knows how it started

nobody knows how it will end

and humans, among others, accept fate

we are the equals to all beings

and beings equal to us

only in consciousness

striving to find

some kind of meaning

through art and through music

a divine comedy

and the lie of God and the sins of establishment

have established your mind

you can no longer find

peace to the thought

that this is it

and this is all there will ever be.
