I Am What I Am

They don’t want you to remember,

they want you to be afraid,

to forget past dissonance,

and long forgotten evil,

your stone cube so perfectly smooth,

transformed to thin ice,

then to shattered glass,

you remember the past,

all those that could not pass,

and now you’re growing stronger everyday,

easing back into your own way.
