I can’t think of any poetry to match the world,
all the love and forgiveness has washed away,
I’m sitting here burning to my knees,
our we humans worthy of gods attention,
does he care for our existence anymore,
or are we pawns in a game,
the magnets of coals and steel and gold reign supreme,
whilst I struggle to find my way out of the darkness,
there’s not much left to give,
we’re sinking further away from out fate,
yet mourning for redemption,
we’re just a bunch of lost souls seeking forgiveness,
but by the time the sun burns out and the earth shouts out,
there’s not much left to give.
